I purchased these about 8 months ago to replace the original Continentals my new Subaru Outback came with. I had about 22k/mi. on them at the time, and had become unacceptably noisy. I replaced them with the H727's, and now have an additional 10k/mi. without issue. They remain very quiet, smooth, with no freeway grove tracking. I have read elsewhere that they may not be the best choice in wet climates. And though, living in CA? I have seen evidence that this may be true. But for here? They're fine!
All-in-all, given the 100k/mi. tread-life warranty? I still think it was a good choice for me!

These are very good tires. It\'s not like the MAX SUMMER OR ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE, but it sure does keep it up.
Performance- cornering is 85-90% good way better than michelin or any comparable brand.
Braking- 77-90% still a little better than brands mentioned above
Ride- is quite enough
Tread Wear- comparable to long lasting michellins

Bought a set of four Hankook Optimo 727 @ 28mo ago. Paid @ $90ea and now they are @ $114...increase of about @25%, much more than the increase in my social security retirement check...
Anyhow, back to the tires...mounted them on my lexus ls430. now i have put @ 40K miles on the tires and they have only @ 4/32 left. But aside from the disappointing mileage, these tires have been great. I purchased them because consumer reports recommended them as being quite and long mileage. Although the tires have not lived up to the long mileage measure, they have definitely been quite. And the handling has been very satisfactory.
I have recently been shopping for replacements and have been shocked to see costs for all tires have gone up so much. I was hoping to buy these tires again but due to costs I'm still shopping...good luck. :-)
