A second cap ply is then added, creating thre layers at the shoulders and two layers across the middle of the tread for enhanced durability at extreme ◘ The plies are constructed from rayon strips - chosen because of their stable nature to protect against heat. The rayon strips are wound at a 50% overlap creating jointless double layered ply ◘ Features high-stiffness bead filler, sidewall compounds and steel reinforcements to improve high-speed capabilities and handling
