The Dunlop Winter Maxx is a studless ice and snow tire that is built for use on a wide range of coupes, sedans, minivans and crossover vehicles. While most winter tires feature a directional tread design, the Winter Maxx has a unique asymmetric pattern. (Asymmetric patterns are generally quieter than their symmetric counterparts.) Dunlop uses a silica enhanced Nano-Fit rubber that is more flexible and rigid for increased grip in all types of winter conditions. Independent tread blocks combine with this asymmetric pattern to deliver capable traction and handling on wet, snow, black ice, packed snow and slush.
